- GOOD. Water normal stain; 72 degrees. All boat ramps remain closed to boats and water levels are extremely low. Kayaks and small watercraft can be launched from the bank but expect muddy conditions. Hydrilla has thinned with less surface mats, so weedless presentations tend to be the most effective. Where possible, moving baits like lipless crankbaits, spinnerbaits, jerkbaits, and swimbaits. Texas-rigged worm, craw, and creature bait soft plastics also continue to be effective.
