SAN ANTONIO — As part of an overall “Houston Archery Strategy” tying archery programs with access to facilities, the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission has approved a $120,000 grant for an archery park north of Houston.

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department wants to ensure the introduction of any non-native aquatic plants, including algae will not harm the state’s natural resources.
AUSTIN — Texas will celebrate Teaming With Wildlife Week Sep. 4-12 to mark the 10th anniversary of the federal State Wildlife Grants (SWG) program. Since 2000, this funding source has provided more than $30 million for Texas to help fish and wildlife and their habitats, including species that are not hunted or fished.
