Trail Race 

Trail Racing Over Texas is holding an overnight run in the park on Sept. 16, 2023. The park will be busier than usual. Expect heavy traffic on the trails from 5 p.m. – midnight.

Site Closures

The primitive campsites and group camp will be closed Oct. 12-14, 2023, for the park's 100-year celebration. Contact the park for details.

Park Closures

The park will be closed on the following dates:

• Noon Dec. 4 - 8 a.m. Dec. 8, 2023
• Noon Jan. 8 - 8 a.m. Jan. 12, 2024

Only drawn, permitted hunters will be allowed in during these times.
