Prescribed Burn

Feb. 24, 2026 - A prescribed burn is planned this week, depending on weather and other factors. Smoke may linger in the area for several days. Some areas may be closed for public safety, including the boardwalk to the Hancock Tract. 

Area Closures

Oct. 17, 2025 - The swimming area and some campsites are closed due to hurricane damage. Swimming is temporarily allowed at the canoe launch area.
