Service Description: This data layer depicts areas of Texas that were classified as urban by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) Ecological Mapping Systems (EMS) dataset. This dataset was created, and is maintained by the TPWD Landscape Ecology Program. Texas Urban was extracted from EMS by Wildlife GIS personnel.
