New Texas Game Warden Training Facility Project Underway (All regions)
The selection process is underway for the architect and contractor who will design and construct the new Texas Game Warden Training Facility. Construction is scheduled to begin August, 2008 at the recently acquired Police Activities League Ranch in Hamilton County, which was donated for the project. Plans include seven new structures, nine renovated buildings, a firing range, a driver training course, and various outdoor physical training facilities. The project will be funded largely with private donations. The public fund raising campaign is scheduled to begin soon.
