Hit the trails with a Lost Pines Master Naturalist on a fun guided hike!

Join a Lost Pines Master Naturalist on a fun guided hike! 

Meet at the Scenic Overlook parking area.
Find hike leaders Ellen and Megan wearing Master Naturalist name tags either near a picnic table or near the large Trails Map Sign at the Scenic Overlook. 

1 to 1.5 mile guided hike should last around an hour to an hour and a half.

Moderate hike with some elevation change, uneven terrain, and steps.

*Note: It is illegal to pick/pluck/take any natural item from a Texas State Park this includes foraging in Texas State Parks. Participants will be educated on the edible plants in our area and are encouraged to plant native edible plants in their yards. 

Please remember to:

• Wear close-toed shoes
• Bring a water bottle
• No bathrooms or water bottle filling stations located at the Scenic Overlook parking. Restrooms are located at playground area. 

Program is free after park entrance fee's have been paid. Park Entrance fee is $5 per adult. Kids 12 and under are free!
