Hermit Crab

Hermit crab
Clibanarius vittatus

Hermit crabs can't grow a hard shell like most crabs, Instead, they coil their soft bodies inside empty snail shells, holding onto the shells' inner curves with specially adapted legs.

When hermit crabs outgrow their snail shells, they look for a new shell like you shop for a new coat.
