The Nails Creek Unit of Lake Somerville State Park has fully reopened, a prime example of how state parks across Texas have benefited from new funding provided last year by the Texas Legislature. Return to the Old West as the Friends of San Angelo State Park host this weekend that will include trail rides, chuck wagon meals, Old West re-enactors, Texas Longhorns, cowboy entertainment and Sunday Cowboy Church.
