- GOOD. Water stained; 85 degrees; 29.14 feet below pool. Bass are fair to good in shallow water out to 10 feet using flukes and soft plastic worms, shad colored crankbaits. Very little topwater action. As the day warms fish in 8-12 feet of water. Catfish are good on cut bait or stink bait in 15-30 feet of water. Crappie are good in brush piles in 20-30 feet of water on minnows or grubs. Report by Scott Springer, Fish Choke Canyon Lake.
