- GOOD. Water normal stain; 74 degrees; 0.62 feet above pool. Bass are slow with shaky heads, Carolina rigs and jigs on the first breaks in 8-12 feet grass lines. Fish the windy side of the lake. Crappie are fair on brush piles in 25 feet of water with 3/32 ounce jigs in shad or chartreuse colors. Report by Jim Brack, Athens Guide Service.
