Travis Fishing Report

Jun 25, 2025
GOOD. Water normal stain; 82 degrees; 43.19 feet below pool. Numbers of bass are down, but the grass and ledges are still producing the most. Throwing Texas-rigged soft plastic worms, creature baits and craw worms are catching a lot. Small swimbaits on underspins are catching schooling bass. Topwaters do well on those also, especially around some of the marinas now. Jigs and creature baits on deep ledges is catching fish in 15-25 feet of water. Report by Bryan Cotter, Texas Hawgs. Topwater bite is good the first few hours of the morning. Summer marina fishing continues in 30-40 feet of water for bass, white bass, crappie and bluegill. Grass action for bass has slowed. Bounce between shaded bluff walls with a craw and marinas with small swimbaits and small spoons. The water is crystal clear when there is no wind, so downsize baits. Report by Randal Frisbie, Central Texas Fishing Guide, LLC.
