GOOD. Water stain; 65 degrees; 50.46 feet below pool. Bass are good in the main lake in shallow water and pockets, and points off the main lake with swimbaits and craws. More bass starting to show up in marinas. Still waiting on the topwater bite. White bass are schooling mid-lake chasing the shad spawn. Report by Randal Frisbie, Central Texas Fishing Guide, LLC. Bass are good on main lake flats with grass where you can use a number of techniques including shallow to medium crankbaits, swimbaits and spinnerbaits. Plastics like worms, craws and creature baits. There are some good fish along cliff walls and ledges as well. Flip up tight to get the most bites with some fish up to pretty good sizes like 5-6 pounds. A Texas-rigged straight worm or curly tails, craw worms, and a dropshot with a finesse worm works as well. Report by Bryan Cotter, Texas Hawgs. Bass are good on small swimbaits and under spins.
