Cade Childress caught this record-breaking blue catfish on March 2, 2021 in Lake Tawakoni. The fish measured 50.75 inches in length and weighed 72.4 pounds! Cade won five awards for his catch: Jr. State Record, Jr. Waterbody Record, Jr. State Catch & Release Record, Jr. Waterbody Catch & Release Record, and a Big Fish Award.
