Lake Buchanan

Locations of Fish Attractors

Return to Lake Buchanan fishing page

This reservoir contains fish attractors made of cedar trees and artificial structures. They were placed by TPWD in cooperation with the Lake Buchanan Conservation Corporation, a local Friends of Reservoirs organization. Black bass, crappie and sunfish use the attractors for cover. Buoys were installed in 2017 to mark the locations of the attractors, which are shown on the map and chart below. GPS coordinates are also available in downloadable files.
