Atlantic Croaker
Micropogon undulatus
Atlantic croakers live their short lives to the fullest. They feast on small fish, worms, crab, shrimp and other shellfish on the bottoms of bays. Then they migrate to the Gulf of Mexico to spawn.
Atlantic croakers have to make the most of their time since only a few of the largest live more than a year.
