History of Pedernales Falls Hike
Join a ranger for a one mile hike down to the falls. We will discuss the history of Pedernales Falls and how it has shaped the wildlife, plants, and geology of the park as we see it today. This hike ends with a fascinating discovery in the rocks! (30-45 minutes)
Bark Ranger Workshop
Bring your canine friend to learn their Bark Ranger Skills! After the brief workshop, we will head out on the trail for a short hike down to the river. Geocaching Color Race
Come learn the basics of geocaching with a competitive twist! Can you make it to each animal color station before the other teams? Please email wendi.laws@tpwd.texas.gov to register.

Join our staff on trail work days. Please come help the rangers maintain our 40 miles of scenic trails in the beautiful Hill Country State Natural. Area.
Art in the Park-Paint The Park Day
Pedernales Falls is heating up for the summer! Come out and join us in the Butterfly Garden to take advantage of the beautiful garden scenery in the cool of the morning. Flowers, birds, butterflies, and more will provide your inspiration to create a masterpiece. Paint and paper will be provided but feel free to bring your own set! Take your creation home or add it to our garden exhibit!
