Invasive Ants
Argentine ants have been identified in some campsites in the park. These invasive ants do not sting. Please be prepared to treat around your vehicle and camping equipment.

The park is open temporarily for day visits only (no camping). Entry is free and on a first-come, first-served basis until the park reaches capacity. We are not taking reservations.
While boat ramps are open, but please be off the lake by 9 p.m., as the park gate closes at 10 p.m.
TPWD has received notification from Vistra that it will terminate the land lease for the park. We continue to pursue conversations to preserve both the park and Fairfield Lake for future enjoyment. Read more about the situation in our press releases:
