  • There are two ways to access the streamed Commission Meeting:

  • The Commission will take comments on agenda items. Public testimony will be taken by telephone or in person.

Instructions for Making Comments

Providing Comments at the Commission Meeting by Teleconference:

  1. Fill out the online registration form to register before 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 21st:
  2. Please read the form carefully and provide all of the information requested.
  3. Fill out a form for each individual agenda item for which you wish to address the Commission.
  4. You will receive an email with a telephone number, access code, and unique attendee ID.
  5. When discussion begins on the item for which you wish to speak, please call the provided phone number and wait on hold.
  6. When public comment begins and the Chairman calls your name, we will unmute you and you can begin to speak.
  7. You are given three minutes to speak.
  8. After you are done with your remarks you will be placed on mute and you can then hang up.
  9. We will proceed in this fashion until everyone is done speaking.

Providing Comments at the Commission Meeting in Person

  • The public may register to speak and submit comments to the Commission in person at the TPWD Headquarters, 4200 Smith School Rd., Austin, TX, 78744, on Thursday, March 28th.
  • Registration begins at 8:00 a.m.
  • Public testimony will normally be limited to three minutes per person on each item labeled “ACTION” during the Commission meeting.
  • Distancing and cleaning protocols will be in place at TPWD Headquarters to minimize risk to the public from COVID-19.
  • Use of face coverings is encouraged while not speaking to the Commission.
  • If you feel sick or have been exposed to COVID-19, please use the online public comment and teleconference options to participate in the Commission meeting.
