100 S'more Years to Come!

Ya like roasting marshmallows and eating s'mores? So do we!

We love s'mores so much that we're giving them away! Stop by our Headquarters Office during opening hours from 8:15am-4:45pm on Saturday, May 13, to snag a free s'mores kit when you visit the park. Take them back to your campsite or find one of our day-use picnic sites to start your own propane or charcoal fire to roast your marshmallows and chow down. Supplies are limited. So get your kit before they're gone! 

This is one of many 100-year celebration events happening in Texas State Parks this year. Keep an eye out for the others! 

When: Sat. May 13, 8:15am-4:45pm (or until supplies are gone)

Where: Pick up your s'mores kit at our Headquarters Office when you first enter the park

Note: As of April 24, our burn ban has been lift. Hurray! You are welcome to use a traditional wood campfire for this event by bringing your own firewood or purchasing firewood from our vending machine outside of Headquarters. Firewood is not included in the kits. If you prefer charcoal or propane, you will need to bring your own. We do not sell charcoal or propane at our store.
