Lake Hike

Get outside, get fit!

On the first Saturday of each month, join the Big Country Master Naturalists at Abilene State Park for a 5-mile hike around Lake Abilene.

Please note: Due to other events taking place at Lake Abilene, the January, October and December hikes will be on the main side of the park. We will meet at the CCC building.

You will need to obtain an entrance permit at the park headquarters. We will meet at the first parking lot by the lake entrance. Please wear comfortable walking shoes, dress for the weather, and bring plenty of water.
