Join us in the annual Backyard Bird Count! Bring binoculars!
Expect: We will be looking and listening for birds, identifying birds with Merlin Bird ID, and tracking our data with eBird. Beginner birders are welcome. Bring your own binoculars please.
When: 2 - 3 p.m.
Where: Knights Bluff Day Use Area
What to bring:
- Water
- Sunscreen/bug spray
- Hat/sunglasses
- Binoculars
Program is included in park entry fees- $3 per person ages 13 and older, 12 and under are free. No need to register, just show up! Programs are subject to cancellation in the event of inclement weather. Cancellations will be announced on Atlanta State Park Facebook page or you can call park headquarters.
