Day Hiking in the Park

Experience multiple trails while learning and asking questions with a Texas Master Naturalist!

Accessibility: Parking will be available at Knights Bluff Day Use. Restroom is next to parking lot. Drinking water is available at multiple water spigots. Path to program is flat pavement and grass. Paths during program vary from flat to rugged terrain.

Program Expectations: Program will consist of multiple hikes throughout the park and question and answers with a Texas Master Naturalist.

When: 10 - 11:40 a.m.

Where: Knights Bluff Day Use

What to bring: 

• Water
• Sunscreen/Hat/Sunglasses
• Bug Spray

Program is included in park entry fees- $3 per person ages 13 and older, 12 and under are free. No need to register, just show up! Programs are subject to cancellation in the event of inclement weather. Cancellations will be announced on Atlanta State Park Facebook page or you can call park headquarters.
