Fish Diversity

Learn about the variety of fish in Wright Patman Lake, make a take home fish print, and try your skills casting a rod!

Expect: Basic introduction to the diversity of fish in Wright Patman Lake. Making a fish print to take home. Learning to cast a fishing rod through the "Backyard Bass" game.

When: 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Where: Knights Bluff Day Use Area

What to bring: 

• Water
• Sunscreen/Bug Spray
• Hat/Sunglasses

Program is included in park entry fees- $3 per person ages 13 and older, 12 and under are free. No need to register, just show up! Programs are subject to cancellation in the event of inclement weather. Cancellations will be announced on Atlanta State Park Facebook page or you can call park headquarters.
