Intro to Fishing

Learn everything you need to start fishing! All equipment will be provided!
Expect: A ranger will teach you everything you need to know to start fishing. Knots, types of fishing poles, fish ID, how to cast, and more will be taught. All equipment and learning material will be provided!
Program will start promptly as there are many topics to cover. Participants who complete the course will earn their basic angler certificate and pin!
When: 1 - 3 p.m.
Where: Knights Bluff Day Use
What to bring:
- Water
- Warm clothing (especially gloves)
Program is included in park entry fees- $3 per person ages 13 and older, 12 and under are free. No need to register, just show up! Programs are subject to cancellation in the event of inclement weather. Cancellations will be announced on Atlanta State Park Facebook page or you can call park headquarters.
