Learn the tools and techniques it takes to become a citizen scientist. Our green spaces and wild places need you!
Expect: Learn how to become a citizen scientist just by using your smartphone! Applications we will learn are (iNat, eBird, Seek, Merlin Bird ID, and NestWatch).
When: 2 - 3 p.m.
Where: Hickory Hollow Trailhead
What to bring:
- Water
- Warm clothing
- Smartphone (please download applications before program)
Program is included in park entry fees- $3 per person ages 13 and older, 12 and under are free. No need to register, just show up! Programs are subject to cancellation in the event of inclement weather. Cancellations will be announced on Atlanta State Park Facebook page or you can call park headquarters.
