Join a ranger to learn about some of the mysterious animals that live in Atlanta State Park!
Accessibility: Parking will be available at Knights Bluff. Restroom is available nearby. Drinking water is available at water spigot. Path to program is pavement and concrete sidewalk.
Program Expectations: Program will consist of a ranger presentation, seeing, feeling, and hearing multiple skins and skulls of the wild animals found in east Texas.
When: 1 - 2 p.m.
Where: Knights Bluff Day Use Area
What to bring:
- Water
- Sunscreen/bug spray
- Hat/sunglasses
Program is included in park entry fees- $3 per person ages 13 and older, 12 and under are free. No need to register, just show up! Programs are subject to cancellation in the event of inclement weather. Cancellations will be announced on Atlanta State Park Facebook page or you can call park headquarters.
