Accessibility: Parking will be available at Knights Bluff Day Use until full. Overflow parking is subject to be anywhere inside park. Restroom is next to Knights Bluff Day Use. Extra portable toilets may be provided. Drinking water is available at front office and nearby water spigots. Path to program is flat grass and pavement.
Program Expectations: Program will consist of watching the solar eclipse. Maximum (100.00%) will be reached around 1:45 p.m. DO NOT look directly at sun without proper eyewear! IF instructed by a ranger, it may be safe to look at solar eclipse without eyewear during maximum. Please be courteous of others. Daytime wildlife may be confused. Birds may begin to roost, night time insects and frogs may begin calling, and other possible factors. Temperature will noticeably drop.
When: 12:30 - 2:30 p.m.

Program is included in park entry fees- $3 per person ages 13 and older, 12 and under are free. No need to register, just show up! Programs are subject to cancellation in the event of inclement weather. Cancellations will be announced on Atlanta State Park Facebook page or you can call park headquarters.
