Woodpecker: Master Carpenters Hike

Learn about and observe a variety of woodpeckers! True master carpenters!

Expect: Short walk and talk with a Texas Master Naturalist to observe and learn about the abundance of woodpeckers.

When: 10 - 11 a.m.

Where: Arrowhead Trailhead

What to bring: 

• Water
• Sunscreen/bug spray
• Hat/sunglasses

Program is included in park entry fees- $3 per person ages 13 and older, 12 and under are free. No need to register, just show up! Programs are subject to cancellation in the event of inclement weather. Cancellations will be announced on Atlanta State Park Facebook page or you can call park headquarters.
