Listening to the Lyrids

It's much easier to wish upon a star... or ten... or twenty, when you can see them clearly!

Come out to the park for a night of stargazing, with meteors reflected in the world's largest spring-fed swimming pool. We'll have a telescope set up and chat about what makes this astrological event so special while watching the shooting stars overhead!

• Meet: In the pool area (maps available at headquarters self-pay kiosk) Please note that for safety reasons, swimming will not be permitted during the event
• Cost: Free with park entry (If arriving after 5:00 PM, please pay at the self-pay kiosk located by the front door of the headquarters building when you first arrive. Entry is $7 per person for visitors 13 and older. Please fill out an envelope, deposit the yellow portion with cash inside, and attach the white portion to your vehicle's windshield.)
• Bring: Something to sit or lay back on to look up at the stars! Consider wearing layers as the night may get chilly. You are also welcome to bring your own telescope, binoculars, and cameras. If you have a red-light flashlight or headlamp, that is preferred to white light
