Navigate the Night: Starhopping - Talkabouts

Explore the cosmos with this easy method of learning "landmarks" in the sky!

The mass of stars above our heads can be difficult to make sense of, but during this star party, we'll chart a simple course through the universe using a few recognizable "landmarks".

Learn a few tips, tricks, and rhymes to help you remember "who's who" in the constellations and asterisms above! Afterwards, we'll peek through a telescope and get an up-close look at some of the most famous celestial objects in the summer sky.

• Cost: Free with park entry
• Bring: A blanket or chair to lay back on, a red light flashlight (if possible)
• Meets: In the pool area. Please park with headlights facing away from the pool
