The Stars at Night are Big and Bright 👏👏👏👏! Join park rangers on a tour across our galactic neighborhood.

Explore the far out reaches of the universe and share stories behind your favorite constellation. Park rangers will take you on a guided tour of our night sky and look at some of your favorite planets and stars through a telescope. 

Reservations are required due to limited space. Please contact Ranger Layla at to reserve your spot. 

When: Saturday, March 2, 2024, from 7:30 to 9:30 PM. 

Where: Sauceda Airstrip. Located on Main Park Road about 1 mile east of Sauceda Ranger Station.

Bring: Camp chair, blankets (it gets cooler in the desert at night), and a red bulb flashlight/headlamp. 

Cost: This event is free with park admission, $5 per person 13 and older. Park admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass.
