🎉 Are you curious about what a park ranger does? Stop by the West Contrabando trailhead to ask our panel of rangers your burning questions.

State Parks Centennial LogoPark rangers have a wide variety of duties from toilet cleanup to leading hikes.(They also know the best sights in the park) Our panel of rangers will showcase the wide variety jobs offered in the park. So come with an inquisitive mind and get to know your local park staff!

This program is part of our official Find Your Trail Event. 

When: Friday, October 20, 2023 from 7 PM to 8 PM.

Where: West Contrabando Trailhead. Located on FM 170 (River Road) approximately 8 miles from Barton Warnock Visitor Center and 40 miles from Fort Leaton State Historic Site. 

Bring: Water and a chair.

Wear: lightweight layers and comfortable shoes.
