Find Your Trail: Orienteering 101

🎉 Join a ranger to learn how to navigate the backcountry of Big Bend Ranch State Park!
Celebrate 100 Years of Texas State Parks by joining Ranger Layla to discover how to traverse the backcountry of the park. In this workshop you will learn how to use a compass and navigate using a topographic map. Your skills will then be put to the test with an obstacle course.
This program is part of our official Find Your Trail event.
When: Friday, October 20 from 4 PM to 6 PM.
Where: Barton Warnock Visitor Center.
Bring: Water. Maps and Compasses will be provided.
Wear: A hat and comfortable shoes.
