Find Your Trail: The Night Shift - A "Day" in the Life of our Bats

🎉 Join a ranger to discover the fantastic world of bats!

Life abounds at night in the desert, where bats play one of the biggest and most beneficial roles. Join a ranger on a short walk to explore how bats start their day. We will also search to find out which different species come out at this time, place, and season. 

This program is part of our official Find Your Trail event.

When: Friday, Oct. 20, 2023 from 8:30 to 10 PM. 

Where: Contrabando Movie Set. Located on FM 170 (River Road) approximately 6 miles from Barton Warnock Visitor Center and 42 miles from Fort Leaton State Historic Site. 

Bring: Water. 

Wear: Lightweight layers and comfortable shoes.
