Get cast (iron) into the past with a delicious history lesson on Dutch oven cooking.
Ranger Stahr will be sharing what makes Dutch ovens so remarkable and making a couple recipes to share with YOU.
A pork carne guisada and fruit cobbler dump cake is on the menu, but is subject to change. Supplies are limited, therefore, first come, first serve.
When: Sunday, November 19, 2023 from 12 PM - 2 PM.
Where: Fort Leaton State Historic Site. Located on FM 170 approximately 5 miles east of Presidio.
Bring: Water, a hat, and a chair.
Cost: Free with park admission; $5 per person 13 and older. Park admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass.
