Hidden Hikes: Little Brown Canyon

Join a ranger on a trek to a hidden canyon of Big Bend Ranch State Park!
Venture off the beaten path by joining Ranger Layla on a 3 mile round trip hike to Little Brown Canyon.
When: Sunday, November 12, 2023 from 9 AM to 11:30 AM.
Where: West Contrabando Trailhead. Located on FM 170 (River Road) approximately 8 miles from Barton Warnock Visitor Center and 40 miles from Fort Leaton State Historic Site.
Distance: 4 miles round trip.
Bring: Water. We recommend 1 L for every hour you hike.
Wear: Lightweight layers, a hat, and comfortable hiking shoes.
Cost: Free with park admission; $5 per person 13 and older. Park admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass.
