The night sky has been inspiring humans for thousands of years. Join Ranger Layla around the fire as we explore the stories people have shared across time.
S'mores supplies will be provided
When: Monday, March 11, 2024, from 7 to 8:30 PM.
Where: Lower Madera campground. Located on FM 170 (River Road) about 13 miles west of Barton Warnock Visitor Center and 34 miles east of Fort Leaton State Historic Site.
Bring: Water and a flashlight/headlamp (preferably with a red bulb)
Wear: Lightweight layers, hat, and comfortable shoes. Be sure to check the weather.
Cost: This event is free with park admission; $5 per person 13 and older. Park admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass.
