Be some of the first to experience our brand new educational exhibits in our new Interpretive Center located inside the Historic Golf Shelter!
You finally have the opportunity to come on inside instead of just peeking through the windows! Be greeted by a Ranger who's there to answer any park questions you have! Roam through our interpretive panels to learn about the Civilian Conservation Corps, the process of building our historic cabins, our C.C.C. companies 1805 and 1811, the Lost Pines Ecosystem, the history of the old golf course and our habitat restoration efforts. So much history and special features in our beautiful park to learn about! Let us know how you like our interactive exhibits!
There is no extra fee to come inside the interpretive center, it's included in your park entry fee.
Park entry fees are $5 per adult ages 13 and up. Children 12 and under are free.
This building is wheelchair accessible.
