Indigenous Sundance Songs Demonstrations

Experience traditional indigenous Sundance songs, drums and teachings from elders and members of the Blue Star Church who follow Lakota Nation traditions.
Blue Star Church follows the teachings of the Lakota people who are part of the Sioux Nation and regularly practice traditional ceremonies that uphold the Lakota culture.
Join them at their Tipi to hear their traditional Sundance songs, drums and teachings.
Meet at the Playfield next to the Historic Golf Shelter.
Program starts at 12pm goes to 12:30pm.
Bring: Bottled water, and folding chairs for comfortable sitting. Wear sun protection as there is no shade on the Playfield.
Program is free after park entrance fee is paid. Park entrance fee is $5 per adult. Children 12 and under are free.
Park entrance is free with a Texas State Parks Pass.
