View the Moon

Take a peak through the telescope to get a closer look at the moon! Come and go program.

Join us at this come and go program from 2 to 3pm. 

Have you noticed the moon out during the day? Take a peak through the telescope and look at the craters on the moon! Learn about moon phases and more moon facts! Then cool off inside and make a craft that will help you navigate the night sky through out the year. 

Meet: Behind the Interpretive Center, craft will be inside the Interpretive Center 

If cloudy skies block our view of the moon, we will still have the craft inside. 

Program is free after entrance fee to the park is paid.
$5 per adult. Children 12 and under are free.
