Welcome to Bastrop State Park and the Lost Pines!

Join a ranger under a historic shade shelter to learn about the interesting history of the park and all the fun things to do while you're here!

Come enjoy sitting under the shade of a historic structure built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930's. Learn about what make the Lost Pines so unique and all the fun activities that you can do while you're here. Got any questions about something you saw in the park or what to expect? Ask away! 

Meet: Historic Rain Shelter/ It will show up as Group Picnic Pavilion on the facilities map. This shelter/pavilion is located in Copperas Creek Campground across from the restrooms. 

Time: 10am to 11pm 

Program is free after park entrance fee is paid.
