Join us for a guided walk showcasing special resident birds such as the Plain Chachalaca, Great Kiskadee, Green Jay and Altamira Oriole.
The early bird gets the worm! Bentsen Rio Grande Valley is home to many bird species that you can only get in the South Texas area. Join us as we take a look at some of our fabulous feathered friends.
- Bring: Binoculars, sunscreen, hat, water, comfortable shoes
- Meet: Park Headquarters, Tram Turnaround
- Registration: Not required.
- Cost: Entry fee is $5 for ages 13 & older and FREE 12 & under (Park entry free with Texas State Park Pass.)
