Spend the first day of 2024 in nature! Take a self-guided hike on an easy 1.5-mile* trail through the park. Learn about the wildlife around you and enjoy the climate of a deep south Texas winter.
*Distance from trail head. Add .5 miles each way from park store.
- Bring: Water, bug spray, comfortable shoes, weather appropriate clothing
- Meet: Resaca Vieja Trail Head

Cost: Entry fee is $5 for ages 13 & older and FREE 12 & under (Park entry free with Texas State Park Pass.)
