Sunrise Hike

Celebrate National Trails Day with a hike up the Nature Trail to view the sunrise.

Enjoy a hike before the day heats up, listen for animals starting their day, and play some sun trivia with us.

When and where: Meet at the entrance parking area at 6am. (Note: There are no restrooms located near the entrance parking area. Restrooms will be located at the top of the hill during the hike.)

Distance and difficulty: The hike will be 1.5 miles. The terrain will include some sloped road surfaces as well as rocky and uneven trail surfaces.

What to bring: Bring a flashlight (for the first half of the hike) and your own drinking water bottle. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes.

Note: The hike is subject to cancellation in the event of inclement weather.
