Children's Birding Program By Girl Scout Troop 855

Join the Cadetts from Girl Scout Troop 855 for an interactive birding program, targeted to children ages 10 and under, but all ages are welcome!
Learn about the birds in Blanco State Park from the Cadetts of Girl Scout Troop 855. Participants will have the opportunity to play a game, earn prizes, and make some lunches for the birds. The program is targeted to youth ages 10 and under, but all ages are welcome. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
When: 2:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m.
Where: The program will be held at the Wildlife Viewing Station (WVS). Turn right as you enter the park and you will dead end at the Pumphouse Trail. The WVS is located on the Pumphouse Trail, requiring a very short walk on a level-graded surface.
Bring: Participants may want to bring water and sunscreen. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
