Hike and Learn about the CCC

Join us for a one-mile hike to learn about the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC), Company 854. We'll learn about the CCC and then we'll leisurely hike around the park to see many of the CCC structures in Blanco State Park.

On this one-mile leisurely hike, we'll discuss the history that resulted in the creation of the Civilian Conservation Corps and hike to several CCC structures within Blanco State Park. 

Meet:  At the Long Tables in the west-side day-use area

Bring/Wear:  Bring water, wear appropriate clothing, including comfortable shoes. 

Cost:  Free with paid park admission. Day passes are $5 for adults;  youth ages 12 and under are free.
