Homeschool Program at Blanco State Park

Join us for a homeschool program in the park!

Blanco State Park’s homeschool program offers outdoor classes for homeschool kiddos in kindergarten through 6th grade. Classes are typically held on the second Thursday and Friday of each month (excluding October). The same lesson will be offered both days to accommodate more students.

This semester, we are deep diving into the popular pollinators across the Texas Hill Country. Each month, we’ll explore a different pollinator!

Topics and Dates:

• September 11-12: Hummingbirds

• October 16-17: Nocturnal Pollinators

• November 13-14: Monarchs

• December 11-12: Bees

Registration: Program is limited to 20 participants, so registration is required.

Registration will open two weeks before the program.

Please register only if you’re sure your student can attend, and if your plans change, please email kathryn.tiedemann@tpwd.texas.gov or call (830)-392-6492 to cancel so that another child can have that spot.

If registered, you will receive an email from Ranger Katy the week of the program. Check your spam if you do not receive an email prior to the day of the program.
