Knowing a few handy knots can make your life easier, especially when camping. Learn some handy knots from a knot master. Reservations are strongly suggested. Bring a sack lunch if you'd like to stay for lunch after the event (optional).

Take advantage of this rare opportunity to learn some handy knots from a master knots man who is offering this one-time workshop at Blanco State Park. Knowing how to tie some handy knots can come in handy, especially when camping. Participants will receive instruction, gain practice in tying knots, and receive a take-home manual with instructions for practicing at home. Participants are welcome to bring a sack lunch to enjoy after the event. 

Where: At the long tables on the west side of the park

When: 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. 

Bring:  Water, sunscreen, and optional sack lunch. 

Cost:  Free with an annual or daily park pass.  A daily park pass is $5 for adults and youth ages 13 and over. Children are free.
