Look Out for Trout!

Test your luck with trout fishing!

Help us look out for trout at Blanco State Park! There will be multiple stations set up focusing on different aspects of learning to fish. You'll be able to borrow a fishing pole for the day, and we'll even provide the bait. You can bring your gear if you prefer.

A fishing license is not required. 

This event coincides with the last trout stocking of the season at Blanco State Park, 12/13/25.

Where: CCC Pavilion

When:  9:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. 

Bring:  Dress appropriately for the weather, bring water, sunscreen, and snacks (optional). Bring your own gear if you prefer.

Cost:  Free with an annual or day pass.  A day pass is $5 for adults. Youth ages 12 and under are free.
