Art in the Park!

Join a Ranger for a creative morning making nature-inspired postcards!
Celebrate the spirit of summer with us at Art in the Park! We'll use crayons, natural textures, and imagination to craft mini masterpieces you can take home or send to someone special.
We’ll also explore the history of postcards and how nature has inspired artists for generations. Whether you’re an experienced artist or just love to doodle, this relaxing activity is for all ages and skill levels.
Prepare:
This is a seated, come-and-go program under the pavilion, lasting about 45 minutes. Wear comfy clothes you don’t mind getting a little crafty in!
Bring:
All supplies provided—including crayons, paper, and natural stencils like leaves and bark. You’re welcome to bring your own art supplies or stamps if you’d like to mail your postcard.
Meet:
Meet us at the Group Pavilion at 11:00 AM. No registration required.
Fees:
Regular Park entrance fees apply ($4 per adult; children 12 & under free). The program and supplies are free.
